Never Top Your Trees!!   Lumberjack Tree Care does not recommend tree topping and will consult our clients on the negative effects of this thinning technique.  We use proper pruning and crown thinning procedures.  Topping trees causes stress, weak new sprout growth, and decay.  It alters the balance between the roots and the crown, creates hazardous and disfigured trees, and is a temporary pruning solution.
